Deux

One summer,
A coincidence,
Unforgettable,
Him and Her.

Clear skies,
Lustful minds,
A desire,
Young hearts.

A low tide,
Nostalgia,
Sworn to secrecy,
One kiss.

A scorching Sunday,
Adolescence,
Fresh spirits,
Craving each other.

Starry nights,
Trivial,
An affair,
He had her.

On the sands,
Tearing at each other,
Heaven on earth,
She was in love.

All summer,
In hiding,
Together at last,
Him and Her.

Loved this one reminds me of my mischievous summer of 2010.

I'm so glad you were able to relate to it in your own personal manner :)

I hope you don't think I have miss-used your poem but this is exactly how the poem fit into my life.

One summer, I ran away from home.
A coincidence, that my true love was in the same country.
Unforgettable, were the three months we spent together.
Him and Her.

Clear skies, from the day I came to his town after the constant rain.
Lustful minds, living at his house with sexual tension was difficult but
A desire, to at least be touched was always there.
Young hearts.

A low tide, swept by our feet as our hearts got deeper into the sand.
Nostalgia, prevailed as I thought of home.
Sworn to secrecy, that we would never tell anyone about how we met.
One kiss.

A scorching Sunday, we went for a swim.
Adolescence, always curious about finding new things within us.
Fresh spirits, and passionately in love.
Craving each other.

Starry nights, we sat by the bay and looked over at the stretched out infinite sea.
Trivial, differences between us never got in the way of why we love each other.
An affair, so malicious by the onlooker.
He had her.

On the sands, we had fights.
Tearing at each other, with sand in mouth and ears.
Heaven on earth, he was so close and so close to perfection.
She was in love.

All summer, where no one knew where we were
In hiding, we only cared about us and that we were
Together at last, after nine hundred and seventy days.
Him and Her.
